January favourites: blush tones

Hi darlings, it’s good to be back with another look on the blog today – the weather finally perked up for a few hours last weekend, meaning I could finally get some new pictures.

January has felt like one of the longest months ever, though I think it always does; payday seems to be a lifetime away, the weather is at its worst and all I can do is patiently wait for spring.

Throughout January I have really been trying to work on my personal style and really own it which you may have seen with a few of my outfit posts this month. A colour that I have fallen in love with and has become one of my main colour bases for my wardrobe is blush pinks – in all the different shades. It’s a perfectly feminine colour and makes me feel girly and good.

This dress is from River Island, I bought it in their sale at the beginning of January and noticed they still had more in store today and since I bought it I have literally worn it every single weekend! It’s super snuggly and warm, I adore the puff sleeves and the colour is just so pretty. I always pair it with these heeled brogues from Monsoon which you have all seen before. With knee-length dresses like this I think its best to add a little bit of height to lengthen your legs and make the whole outfit look more flattering.

This coat has been my saviour this winter. I bought it from Wallis and it has saved me on so many days when the weather has been freezing! I would definitely recommend investing in a thick, decent winter coat that you love and that will pair perfectly with your whole wardrobe – I promise, you will not regret it!

Only a few days into my wardrobe, but I am already obsessed with it – This beautiful circle structured bag from Primark is literally what spring dreams are made off! I’ve had a bag just like this on my wishlist  and when I saw this beauty in Primark for £6 last weekend I HAD to buy it. I’ve already had so many compliments on it and I love everyones surprise when I say it’s from Primark. It’s perfect for adding that pop of colour to the end of winter but I know I will definitely still have this bag on my shoulder throughout spring.

What have been your favourite pieces of clothing this month?
